Cauliflower and potatoes tossed together( Gobi Aloo)

Cauliflower cooked with potatoes plus some tomatoes and spices


Ingredients:

Cauliflower -cut the florets

2 medium sized potatoes

1 medium sized tomatoes diced and 1/2 teaspoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 chopped green chillies

1 " grated ginger

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

salt to taste

1/4th teaspoon red chilli powder

1/4th teaspoon garam masala

In a frying pan fry the cauliflower and potatoes with some salt , once it starts browning take it out and leave it in a colander to drain the oil.

In a pan add 3 tablespoons of avocado oil and cumin seeds once it start spluttering add the ginger and dry spices then tomatoes and paste with green chillies once well blended and oil comes up add the fried cauliflower and potatoes. Add cilantro to garnish. Serve with a hot chapati.
