Coconut Chutney


Ingredients: 3/4th cup Fresh Coconut or frozen

1/2 " ginger

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 chopped green chillies

1/4th teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon roasted urad dal

1 tablespoon roasted peanuts or cashew nut

1/4th-1/3 rd cup water

Tempering:

1 tablespoon oil

1teaspoon mustard seeds

pinch of asafetida

1 dried red chilli

curry leaves

In a blender or small food processor add the coconut, ginger , salt green chillies, roasted nuts and dal

and salt add water to make the mixture smooth. Now temper it with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dries red chillies. Serve with your dosa or idli.
