Sooji ka Halwa( Semolina Dessert)

Ingredients:

3/4th cup Semolina

1/3rd cup sugar

3-4 tablespoons ghee

1/4th teasppon cardamon powder

3-4 strands of saffaron

1 1/2 cups of water


In a pan dry roast the semolina on medium heat. Once it starts changing color add the ghee and mix it and let it brown a little. On another sauce pan add the sugar and water and add the cardamon and saffron bring it to boil. Then add it to the semolina and put the stove in low heat and cover. Switch the gas off after 3-4 minutes and garnish with crushed almonds and saffron.
